Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Whitestone, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ginger & Lemongrass at (347) 732-0387; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Whitestone is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Whitestone follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The new restaurant is beautiful, but the flavor of the food has changed. The Coconut Lemongrass Ramen used to be my favorite, but now it tastes completely different and itβs just not my taste anymore. The same goes for the chicken wings. I really hope it goes back to the way it was before. π

I ordered delivery via UberEATS. The food was so delicious that I had to write a review. Sadly I didn't take any pictures, but that's because I didn't think about it until I was almost finished. I ordered the battered tumeric fish sandwich which was beyond delicious. The sandwich arrived still crispy (bread and fish) which I was amazed by since I do not live close by. The brisket sandwich was also extremely good. The brisket was tender and the bread had the crispy texture that we all love. The beef soup was really flavorful and arrived packaged separately, which was really appreciated. The peanut sauce that came with the summer roll was a great touch. I ordered the chicken one but I think shrimp would be better. The vietnamese coffee was strong but sweet and they followed the instructions I left in the notes for no ice. I will definitely order from this place again. I would like to try the turmeric dill fish!!

Love the pho here. The taste of the broth is above any other pho broth I have ever tasted. Love the round eye and brisket. Extra mushroom and bokchoy is my go to. I also tried the spring rolls which were super fresh. The boy friend had the beef dinner and loved it. Will definitely be back soon! So glad they are back.
